Seasonal opportunities
No matter the season, you can always find something to do in the area. Try one of these, or create an adventure of your own!
- SUMMER: Music concerts, Art in the Park events, horseback riding at one of the many area stables.
- FALL: Grape Stomping Festival at Carlos Creek Winery (includes food, music and crafts galore!), a drive to Inspiration Peak for a beautiful panorama of the fall colors.
- WINTER: Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing along one of the many trails nearby, downhill skiing at one of the area ski slopes.
- SPRING: Kayaking on beautiful Lake Ida, golfing at one of Alexandria's dozen courses.
