Map & directions

KAPALO is located at 8780 Sugar Sand Lane in Alexandria, Minnesota. Take Interstate 94 to the city of Alexandria. Take the Broadway exit North to County Road 27, where you will turn right (east). Continue to Nakomis Avenue/County Road 29 (you'll see Eldens grocery store on the corner). Turn left on Nakomis and follow it until you see the Holiday gas station, where you will turn left again. Once you pass the Bug-a-Boo restaurant, look for County Road 34, where you will turn left (west). Go past the Carlos Creek Winery until you come to Sugar Sand Way, which is on the left-hand/west side. When you come to the T in the road, turn right onto Sugar Sand Lane. KAPALO Retreat Center is on the left-hand/west side and can be identified by the two stone pillars at the entrance.
